We had a good turnout for the My Final Wish presentation on Wednesday, July 26. Sixty six people were in attendance as Fr Lou spoke to explain what is assumed when a family requests a funeral liturgy for a loved one. Deacon Glenn Tylutki from the Catholic Cemeteries presented the reasons for Catholics resting in consecrated ground while attorneys, John Benz and Carl Evans spoke to legal issues before and after death.
Special thanks to our four participating funeral homes and their representatives;
Colonial Chapel and Funeral Home – Ed Dymstra
Lawn Funeral Home – Madeline Jarka
Maher Funeral Home – Robert and Phillip Maher
Sheehy Funeral Home – Bill Kiley and Bill Luben
