Made For More: Visions of the Promised Land
With: Christopher West
Music by: Mike Mangione
St. Julie, along with several other neighboring parishes, are supporting the efforts of hosting parish, St. Damian in promoting this important event.
Where do we come from and where are we going? These questions are decisive for understanding what it means to be human and how to orient our lives and our actions toward authentic fulfillment. Join Christopher West and Mike Mangione as they creatively weave together dynamic presentations with live music, movie clips, YouTube videos, and sacred art for an evening of beauty and reflection on the meaning of life, love, and human destiny. You will come away with a faith-filled vision of hope that will instill in you the sheer wonder and joy of being alive.
All ages are welcome. Children should be accompanied by a parent or other adult.
Tickets are general seating. They may be purchased at St. Damian or online at the link below:

This ministry is made up of parishioners who pray primarily for the needs of our parish, all age groups and ministries, but also for Archdiocesan and World needs, especially for those often overlooked. No meetings and no dues! We just want your promise to pray! You’ll receive a monthly newsletter with prayer intentions as well as a prayer book and a Certificate of Ministry signed by our pastor.
If you are interested in joining this ministry or have any questions, please email Deacon Rich Miska ([email protected]) or call the parish office (708.429.6767 x212) and leave your name, phone number and address.
With God, all things are possible.

Our celebration of “Tet” (Lunar New Year) at St. Julie took place on January 16, 2022. It started with our weekend Mass at 6:00pm in church, celebrated in both Vietnamese and English, and continued with festivities in the Devine Center until late in the evening. Our thanks to Fr. Joe Mulcrone for providing interpretation for the deaf in attendance at the Mass, and to all who made the event a success. We hope you will enjoy pictures from the event:

You can buy a brick to help Luke honor military servicemembers!
Luke Rost is a young parishioner who is currently working on his Eagle Scout project, a beautiful outdoor space to be installed on our parish grounds which will honor current military servicemembers and memorialize military veterans and fallen servicemembers.
Engraved bricks will be sold to fund the project, which is set to begin in Spring 2022. These bricks will complete the pathway and patio portions of the project.
For complete information about the project and how you can help, please visit Luke’s project website by clicking on the link below. Thank you!
