Nancy Harmening, pictured above with Troop #662 of the Orland Park Trailblazers is receiving the St. Anne Medal, the highest national recognition for adults who serve Catholic youth through Girl Scouts, on Sunday March 18th at Holy Name Cathedral. Nancy is a member of St. Julies Parish and has been involved in Girl Scouts for over 10 years.

Saint Anne, the mother of the Virgin Mary, is a fitting and apt model for this, the highest award given by the Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting to persons who have given selflessly to Catholic young women in the Girl Scouts of the USA and the Campfire Association.
