The Sacred Heart Chapel

The Sacred Heart Chapel is the place of
daily mass and other liturgies and devotions.
This daily chapel is dedicated to the
Sacred Heart of Jesus. An icon depicting the Sacred Heart is placed between two
statues depicting Joseph and Mary. The entire ensemble reminds believers that
our model of life and community should be that of the Holy Family.
The Sacred Heart Chapel
is located near the South entrance to the church and has its own entrance there.
It can be also be entered from the narthex of the church, to the right (South)
of the Baptismal font.
Two Reconciliation rooms are located at the
rear of the chapel.
The Sacred Heart Chapel was funded by the
Philippine members of our parish and dedicated to the Sacred Heart in gratitude
for their generosity.
The large half arch which dominates the
chapel is an architectural feature which unites the Chapel with the arch of the
church itself.
A larger Sacred heart icon is planned and
is to be placed in the chapel when funds are available.
Also see "The Church of St. Julie Billiart"
for a virtual tour which includes this chapel.
