We Pray
The members of St Julie parish pray
together, not only at mass and other liturgies but in groups with a
specific purpose or theme. These groups are described on these pages.

Adoration
The Sacred Host is on the altar. We pray or
meditate for a few minutes, an hour, or as much time as we have.
On-Line Chapel -
Prayers of our Faith
The On-Line Chapel is a resource center for the prayers of the
Catholic Church. Here you will find prayers for every need or occasion.
We Pray
For Our Sick
This is an early tradition in the Church. Christ healed the sick when he
was on earth and we ask that He continue to do so and give them strength
to cope with their illness.
We Pray for the Deceased
We remember them. We ask God to welcome them into His home.
Praying for the Needs of the World
During the celebration of the Eucharist,
the Church provides an opportunity for those assembled to pray for all
humanity. These prayers are called the "general intercessions" or "the
prayer of the faithful"
Community Faith Sharing
Groups
Sometimes called "Small Groups" these parishioners meet in each other's
homes to share their faith and pray.
Ministry of Praise
Homebound but still active parishioners pray for the needs of the parish
and its members.
Our Lady's Prayerline
After daily mass, these parishioners remain to pray for various
intentions. The Rosary is a part of their prayer.
