Congratulations to Fr. Steve, our pastor, who has been selected by the Office for Catechesis as a recipient of the Archdiocesan Catechetical Ministry Award. Cardinal Francis George will present the awards at the 2002 Catechetical Ministries Dinner on May 21^st, 2003.

Fr. Steve is actively involved in Catechist Formation and Adult Education here at St. Julie and is also totally supportive of all catechetical efforts in the parish.

He is a team member of the North American Forum on the Catechumenate, Co-author of the Foundations in Faith Series, and a contributor to Faith First, the textbook series which is currently used at St. Julie.

We congratulate and celebrate this special recognition.

Congratulations are also due to Lilia Izguerra, an Eighth Grade Catechist, who is our Parish Recipient of an Archdiocesan award. Lilia will also receive a pin and certificate from Cardinal George on May 21st.
