Summary

We envision St. Julie parish as:

A home for every heart ---
formed by faith,
acting in hope,
serving with love.

Certain aspects of pastoral ministry need continuous strengthening to live this vision.  We focused on four broad areas, translating each into a goal.

 >  Catechesis
(the religious formation, adapted and appropriate to each age level, that makes possible a living and vibrant faith)

Goal: Integrally link religious formation of children, youth and adults with parish life.

 >  Stewardship
(the lifestyle of a disciple which acknowledges that all good things come from God as a gift, and therefore, the response of individuals and a parish community giving back of their time, talent and treasure to the kingdom)

Goal:  Vigorously promote stewardship and actively promote it throughout the parish.

>  Evangelization
(the witness we give as believers in our daily lives --- at home, at school, at work and in our neighborhoods --- to the Good News of Jesus Christ)

Goal:  Intensely focus efforts to evangelize and re-evangelize.

>  Lay Empowerment
(the collaboration of laity with the pastor and the pastoral staff in leading the direct ministries of the parish)

Goal: Honestly re-direct ministry decisions to the appropriate level.
