"MUSIC" MINISTRY
Bravo to our Music Ministers How blest we are to have such gifted, talented and generous people at St. Julie! Our accompanists each week are prepared and conscientious. They instrumentally add beauty to our sung prayer with our beautiful pipe organ or the grand piano. It takes times to learn, practice and then perform well at liturgies every weekend throughout the liturgical year. It is wonderful to be able to count on people who are willing to add this ministry to their already busy music schedules as teachers, parents or students. Many thanks to Sue Clemons for her ongoing support of our Music Ministry Program. Her dedication to playing the organ and piano, as well as accompanying and rehearsing with the Adult Choir, the Kids’ Khoir and filling in with handbells or coaching our younger musicians is a great help. She does a wonderful job. John Clemons and Rachel Kramer are also an important part of our accompanist group. John has played at weekend liturgies for a couple years. Rachel, who also sings in our choir, has been playing here for the past year. Both are great to have on board! Our instrumentalists enhance our liturgical music. They add another dimension to our sung prayer. They pick up their music, practice on their own, and attend different liturgies throughout the weekend so a few masses are able to enjoy their instrumental accompanying. We thank Kevin Ragauskis, viola; Jeff Ragauskis, cello; Elise Harmening, violin, Abbey Wolfenson, violin; Roseanne Misheck, flute, and Matt Bordoshuk, clarinet. Tom O’Sullivan and Dennis Gotkowski also help on breaks from college.
As Music Director of this wonderful
parish I am grateful to all who help to “make music unto the Lord”.
You are all a blessing to St. Julie and the people appreciate all of
your gifts and effort.
