All are welcome. This applies to those with disabilities who participate in Mass on the weekend and those who serve in ministry. No one is excluded.

Inclusion ministry is a new ministry developed to concentrate on how parishes welcome people with physical disabilities and differences. Since 1996, the Pathways Awareness Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to Inclusion, has worked in partnership with the Archdiocese of Chicago to include individuals with disabilities in worship. We visualize the ways to include all people in worship, ministry, fellowship and learning.

We focus on ways our congregations can remove barriers to full participation by all and create welcoming environments for all. We look at how our facilities can be more accessible to everyone so that our congregations are better able to share each person's gifts, every day of the year in worship.
