• Function-Helper Catechist:

  • They have a one-on-one relationship with a mentally handicapped person all year.

  • They work with them at the weekly sessions.

  • They are like special friends.

  Qualifications:

  responsible, loving person, who is willing to share their faith in this special way.

Although the program at St. Julie's is designed for developmentally disabled adults, if you are in need of special religious education for a child, for whatever reason, please contact the SPRED Chairperson who will be able to direct you to a neighboring parish that offers the program you need.

A one-day training session is provided for Helper Catechists.

People who are interested in helping with this program. are invited to call the Chairperson.
