Into the New Millennium ...

Committed to continue the teaching ministry of Jesus, the people involved in Education Ministry are dedicated to enriching the lifelong faith formation of the parish community at its various stages of development. We see catechesis at all levels as a work of evangelization within the context of the Church's mission, in fidelity to the Holy Spirit. 

We realize that neither catechesis nor evangelization is possible without the action of God working through the Spirit. So through prayer, communication, and discussion, we seek to strengthen the welcoming aspect of Baptismal catechesis, develop bonds of faith, hope, and love among the developmentally disabled, explore the richness of the Word through Scripture Study, and provide catechetical. and formational programs to nurture and sustain the faith life of our adults and young people. 

Within this community of believers, our hope and vision is to foster a "living, conscious, and active faith through the light of instruction." And, like the seed scattered on good ground, our efforts will hopefully yield a harvest of a hundredfold.
