Saturday, October 18 from 5:30
to 8:00 p.m. in the Devine Center.
The Social Committee is looking
for interested individuals, family or friends
who love to cook and have a famous family ethnic
recipe. Now we know everyone has one family
recipe that they love to boast about. This is
the time to show it off.
So dig out grandma's (or
whoever's) favorite recipe and get planning.
On the day of the event all participants will
have a table (provided by St. Julie) to present
their food. Parishioners will come, taste and
judge the entries. They will be judging, Best
Food, Best Presentation, and Best Costume. Great
prizes will be awarded.
Also, we will have entertainment
to make it a lively family event – so do you
have a particular ethnic dress, dance or song –
if so, we are interested! This is a
wonderful way for parishioners to get together
and learn about the ethnic groups that make up
the St. Julie family. We've come to taste and
love Fr. Steve's Italian food and Fr. Artur's
Polish food, this is the time to try the rest.
So get your kids, your friends,
or your neighbors together and decide what you
would like to present. There is no restriction
on the type of food presented. It can be an
appetizer, main dish, side dish, soup, or
dessert. You do not have to participate in all
categories. Maybe you just want to cook and
present or maybe you want to dress up and
entertain. You decide.

coordinators below by September 29 if you are
