We present the pages in this section to provide information and resources pertaining to the
every day lives of our parishioners.

The church divides things into two categories, the Sacred and the Profane. Sacred pertains to matters of religion and faith which we included in the sections of this web site for Sacraments and Our Faith.  This section then could be called the Profane as it has to do with everything else.

In a larger sense however, we can not separate our everyday existence from our faith since our faith, religious beliefs and moral guidelines should govern all our decisions and actions. At the conclusion of the Mass we are sent forth into the world ... to love and serve God ... and each other.

After speaking to the people of love, marriage, children, work, play. friendship, death, and other aspects of life ...

" ... an old priest said, Speak to us of Religion.
And he said:
Have I spoken this day of ought else?
Is not Religion all the deeds and all reflection, and that which is neither deed or reflection, but a wonder and a surprise ever springing in the soul, even while the hands hew the stone or tend the loom?
Who can separate his faith from his actions, or his belief from his occupations?
Who can spread his hands before him, saying, "This for God and this for myself; This for my soul, and this other for my body"? "

het

Indeed, the body and the soul are inseparable. And so we have ministries and resources to prepare us for, and aid us in, our daily lives. It is these that this section of the web site addresses.
